Adding subtitles to Plex

Sometimes, Plex's use of opensubtitles provides my streaming movies with the wrong subtitles. Is there a way for me to download subtitles and add them myself into the movie folder on my box?

yes download the subtitle and the upload the file to the plex media libray and move the subtitle file to the same location as the movie or tv show
