Is it possible to use third party Agents with Plex? I'd like to use Hama and Absolute Series Scanner

Hello!
Yes you can install third party Agents.
The Plex directory is located inside a hidden folder /home/user/.apps/plex/

To access this folder you will need to login via SSH or SFTP (not FTPS).

Don't forget in the end to restart your plex app from your client area
