Can I use SOCKS5 not only for HTTP services?

Hi there,

I would like to know whether it is possible to configure specific applications on my computer and iPhone to route traffic via my seedbox? For example, I would like Telegram (messaging app) to route its trafic through SOCK5, but I cannot work out how to do that. I tried to use credentials provided on my seedbox page (server: -.cloud.seedboxes.cc, port and my credentials), but it does not seem to work.
