How can I connect Sonarr, Radarr, -arr, etc. to Plex for library updates?

Posted December 2nd, 2019    2695   1   sonarr radarr plex

So when running -arr and Plex on a local machine, I can tell Plex to leave the libraries alone, and have Sonarr / Radarr trigger a library update when a download is complete.

I have a large library and don't want Plex continuously updating the libraries, and I don't want to wait 24 hours for a scheduled update to watch a show I downloaded "now."

In Sonarr / Radarr is where this information would be done (at least on my old system).

Or is the only solution to have Plex "Scan my library automatically " and "Run a partial scan when changes are detected "?

Thanks.

Found the solution, so for anyone else looking in the future...

hostname: [username].cloud.seedboxes.cc
port: 45006
username: your plex.tv email
password: your plex.tv password

Is this still working? Tried the below with my credentials and get the following

Unable to connect to Plex Server

Please bear in mind that the port is different for each user, so the 45006 was specific for that user (as is the username of course), yours will vary.
To find the correct port, go to "SFTP/SSH Access" at your seedbox client area and add 4000 to the number you see there

This right here is the answer that saved the day!

checked "SFTP/SSH Access" area fro my port assigned to my login but still getting unable to connect to plex server.

was able auth with plex server

It seems that they changed the connection process and now it is done via "Authenticate with plex.tv", at least for radarr V3, that is.
