How can I control storage in Deluge?

I have realized that the free space that Deluge indicates does not correspond to the real space that you have as a user, so I would like to know if you have any method to control the real space and stop downloading before running out of space and suspending the host until you delete files and bring it within bounds.

With RTorrent I used Pyroscope to try to control, although not always with good results.

Is there a way to control this better in Deluge?
