LazyLibrarian with SABnzbd

I configured and used LazyLibrarian on seedboxdes.cc a couple of years ago, but switched to Readarr when it came out. Now the Readarr developers have given up on Readarr and the advice on the web is to switch to LazyLibrarian.

Unforturnately, I'm having fits trying to follow the LazyLibrarian instructions on the web to connect it to SABnzbd. I get "Unable to talk to sab_nzbd, check HOST/PORT/SUBDIR" Has anyone configured a connection between SABnzbd and LazyLibrarian recently?
