LFTP connection refused

Posted July 7th, 2017    3423   0

After using seedboxes and connecting on my various Mac's using a terminal LFTP client for years, I suddenly am getting 'connection refused' messages after login. I haven't changed any setup on my Mac for some time. I started to notice this perhaps 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I installed LFTP client through Homebrew. Haven't changed config in at least 6 months.

I haven't changed seedboxes password in ages either.

No other internet connection issues I've noticed with any other sites or connections.

I am not using a VPN.

iMac, Sierra 10.12.5

Please tell us the lftp connection command you use. Maybe 3 weeks ago your server was migrated to the new platform, and you did not notice in your client area, that the connection ports changed ?

I don't specify ports. My LFTP command is fairly simple: > lftp > open [email protected] > [password] Although about 6 months ago I had to use this command, so I setup a shel script to add: > lftp -e "set ssl:verify-certificate no" Using either the shell script, or just a manual LFTP command, I always get refused
Well, there is your issue. Try: open [email protected]:9979 And it should work
