PLEX Stream Drops

Every now and then been getting PLEX stream, dropping.....where there is no connection....and my internet is working...just seems to go in and out.....get that annoying box "Lost connection" or something like that....has this been happening to anyone else? should I change a setting in PLEX?

This is most likely an issue with your ISP (unstable network or network malfunction / congestion).

I suggest you follow these instructions to test your real speed between our network infrastucture and your ISP. Run the speedtest while logged in and at the moment you are experiencing issues, reroute if there are low speeds (check the "average" column which corresponds to plex connection) and try streaming again.

You could also try another device (preferably wired connected to your router) and/or another media file to rule out any other possible cause.
