Remote files

Good afternoon everyone,
I'd like to be able to remote to a file host like uptobox for example.
I used to be able to do this with my old seedbox by indicating as url :
ftp://myID:password@urlofseedboxes.cc/files/downloads/nameofmyfile

But here it doesn't work. How do you do it?
