tautulli and overseerr connection to plex keeps dropping

When I load plex servers for tautulli and overseerr, it finds the instances with IPs. Like: 172.19.0.xxx:32400. However this seems to change often and then both lose their connection. I've tried setting it to use DNS for my plex like https://xxx-plex.cloud.seedboxes.cc/ with port 443 however I can never get tautulli and overseerr to verify the server with a DNS name and not IP
