Transferring files from seedbox to another file hosting service

Posted July 17th, 2017    4206   0

I've been using my seedbox for the past day or so and I'm finding that when I transfer my files using Filezilla that I get pretty slow speeds (I'm in Australia, might be the reason why). Anyway, I find that I don't get slow speeds when it comes to a service like Google Drive or Dropbox, so I was wondering if there was a way that I could transfer files from my seedbox to one of these services and then download from the external service?

Thanks in advance :)

You can do this via the command line with rclone (rclone.org). It is already preinstalled on your seedbox.

However, we are developing our own application, that in about 1-2 weeks, we will release a new version, that will support Dropbox, Onedrive and Google Drive, and the ability to copy files between any of them and your seedbox via a nice graphical web interface.

It is called "Seedbucket", and here is a blog post with more details.

Hi Tony. Do you know if this functionality has been implemented yet? Mounting and copying files to GDrive, OneDrive, etc?
Yes, it has been implemented. More about it here: https://community.seedboxes.cc/articles/how-to-use-seedbucket
