Seedbucket automation.

Hi.

I reached the conclusion that seeding through gdrive is impossible.

Is it possible to setup seedbucket/radarr/sonarr so that files are moved only 8 days after starting or completing the download?

Also, would 4K direct play be possible with a Bat seedbox?

Thanks.

Hi!
You are correct, we don't allow seeding from Google drive.

If you have implement Plex to your Google drive, we can install for you a customized offload script to transfer content that is at least 8 days old at your local seedbox Plex subfolders, towards your Google Plex subfolders.
Just open a support ticket from your client area, requesting this and we will take care of it.

As for 4K direct play with a BatBox, yes that is possible but you have to make sure that a) your plex client definitely supports 4K direct play and b) you have sufficient internet bandwidth. More specifically, at least 40-50 MBps are required for streaming, you can check your real speed between our servers and your ISP by running this speedtest . If you have logged in prior to running the speedtest, you can perform afterwards reroutes (manually or automatically) between the available streams so you can have the best available bandwidth. You can find more info regarding the speedtest tool here

Thanks for your response.
Just one final question.
Is radarr/sonarr integration able to find and download only new shows if i use my long time storage in the gdrive?

Unfortunately we don't allow Google drive mount to be available to sonarr/radarr, so you can't import existing content from your gdrive. Google mount is only available to Plex.

Therefore, you need to manually add your series/movies. At the "Add series" section, if you have seen all content up to that moment, you need to select "Future" option at "Monitor". This way, only future episodes will download to your seedbox. Same applies for radarr too.

Don't forget to enable the "Ignore Deleted Episodes" setting in Sonarr and "Unmonitor Deleted Movies" in Radarr so that once your content is offloaded via the script to Google Drive, they will be marked as unmonitored and won't be downloaded again (due to missing in your local seedbox)

So you're saying i have to manually select every new movie release for download?

Yes that is correct. Once you download a movie in X quality, radarr stops monitoring (via enabled "Unmonitor Deleted Movies") therefore it doesn't notify you for a better quality in future releases. If you want to redownload that movie in better quality, you need to manually search for it. From history tab, you know what you downloaded in the past.

I guess there might be a workaround to that via the use of sonarr/radarr at your local PC, as reported by a user at the comments section here

Thanks for your helpful responses. I’m on the fence but I think I’ll give it a try.
